Whidbey Island Pollinator Refuge

Swarm is working to create a native plant pollinator refuge on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound.

The forest already has some plants that bees love to forage: native thistles, huckleberry, rhododendron, salmonberry, madrone trees, and some ground covers.

Over the coming year, we're working to plant more natives. And to install some tree bee hives.
