Oregon Pumpkin Honey
Honeybees pollinate pumpkin blossoms to create a delicious earthy and slightly spicy honey that's ideal for fall and winter baking. The male blossoms flower first, followed a couple of weeks later by female blossoms. Pollination has occurred when the female flower falls off and the small fruit begins to grow.
Beekeeper's tasting notes: thick and golden honey with flavor reminiscent of butterscotch.
All of Swarm Portland's honey is raw and unfiltered, and it contains some beneficial pollen and propolis. There are absolutely no additives.
Small batch so get it while it lasts!
